As most of you know, I grew up a skateboarder in San Diego. One of the most attractive things about the sport as a teenager was the element of danger. At any given time, you can fall off your board and break your bones into a million pieces. Back then there were no community skateparks or gold medalists associated with the sport. My friends and I would have to get creative and sneak into local spots that may have an empty pool, long staircase or perfect curb to grind. You had to fall on your face a thousand times before you could land a trick. Gradually, an entire counter-culture of rebellion and community was born out of skateboards and punk rock.
It defined a generation and is ingrained in the way I think and feel. It is the attitude that underpins all that I do and how I approach everyday life. It's part of why I dream big about what the world really is, or could be. There are no limits, there are no rules. I am attracted to the adrenaline of uncertainty. It’s the special sauce that led me into prying open the biggest secrets in the world and bringing them out of the control of government intelligence agencies.
Today, this irreverent point of view has inspired massive industries and successful brands at the cross section of fashion, street art and music around the world. Supreme, Banksy, Blink-182. I envision To The Stars as a culmination of all these things morphed into an entertainment company.
And UFOs are just the tip of the spear. I believe that there are all sorts of extraordinary phenomena that are very real and have evidence from credible resources to back it up. Creatures, ghosts, portals… These stories are insane, incredibly entertaining and have the ability to expand our curiosity and collective consciousness about who we are in the universe. We have to get these stories out!
Another exciting thing is the world’s appetite for entertainment has the industry booming. Just look at how media production companies like A24 and Reese Witherspoon’s 'Hello Sunshine’ have fared. A24 just registered a $2.5 billion valuation, while Hello Sunshine sold for over $1 billion. They don’t even publish books, create products, or sell to their fans directly. We do, similar to Disney. To The Stars has something no other company can offer.
Stan Spry of Cartel Pictures, our veteran production partner and board member says this:
“To The Stars is uniquely positioned to be highly successful in the entertainment industry. Now, more than anytime in the history of media, studios, networks, broadcasters and streamers are putting a high value on unique intellectual property. The company combines exceptional storytelling with unique access to intellectual property from its partners within aerospace, science, and government. As of today, TTS is working with some of the biggest content creators within the Hollywood studio system and the independent entertainment industry. They are creating television series, feature films, graphic novels, podcasts, novels, digital assets, and are strategically partnering with highly established, and highly reputable, content creators to bring this intellectual property to life. The entertainment industry is a multi-trillion dollar market that is only expected to grow year-over-year. Never before in the history of the world has there been such a demand for entertainment and media, and TTS is in a prime position to fulfill its goal of becoming a leading provider of high-end, entertaining, and lucrative content for decades to come.”
We are pushing the boundary of what is possible. Don’t miss your chance to participate in this exciting era of entertainment.
